摘要
The first high-resolution CBF maps in the Macaca mulatta are shown that were obtained with 500 mm in-plane resolution (single-shot GE-FAIR). High sensitivity was achieved by using a 7 T system and custom-made RF coils in TORO mode. Functional changes of CBF was found to be robust in the macaque primary visual cortex (38% / -21% changes during activation). The functional CBF change was entirely localized within gray matter cortex, providing unequivocal evidence for its high spatial specificity. Functional contrast-to-noise ratio was mainly determined by capillary contributions and was independent of baseline CBF.
