徐杨峰博士于西南大学获得兽医学学士学位(导师:刘娟教授)。 后转入广西大学攻读兽医药理学与毒理学硕士学位(导师:何家康教授)。 他在根特大学获得健康科学博士学位(导师:Chris Baeken 教授、Kathelijne Peremans 博士、Jimmy Saunders 教授)。 在攻读博士学位期间,他在犬类模型中将神经刺激治疗(加速重复经颅磁刺激(rTMS))与多模态脑成像技术(MRI/SPECT/PET)相结合,以评估和治疗焦虑犬,从而缩小了人类和兽医研究之间的差距。 现在他加入了 ICPBR 的全身动态脑实验室,重点研究岛叶皮质的功能组织。
