Biography

Yalin Yu received the B.E. degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Southwest University, Chongqing, China, in 2019. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in Computational Biology with the Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China.

Research Interests

Sleep plays an important role in maintaining normal body functions, but its functions and mechanisms remain to be fully understood. Different spatiotemporal scales can provide more information to sleep research, but how to provide and integrate functional information at different scales during sleep remains a challenge. Her research focuses on exploring sleep mechanisms using using simultaneous electrophysiology and fMRI recordings.
