On December 5th, Dr. Kentaro Miyamoto, affiliated with the Laboratory for Imagination and Executive Functions at the RIKEN Center for Brain Science in Japan, visited the ICPBR and delivered a presentation titled "The Evolutionary Origin of Metacognition in Primates" at the ICPBR Colloquium. The colloquium was hosted by Dr. Vishal Kapoor, the head of the Laboratory of Neural Dynamics of Visual Perception and Cognition. Both the in-person and online audiences received the talk warmly, which demonstrated Dr. Miyamoto's expertise and commitment to advancing neuroscience.
On the following day, December 6th, ICPBR members had the opportunity to engage in further discussions with Dr. Miyamoto during lunch. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Miyamoto for his excellent lecture.
