On April 8th, 2025, Dr. Peter Mombaerts from the Max Planck Research Unit for Neurogenetics in Germany visited ICPBR and delivered a talk titled "Glomeruli of the Mouse Olfactory Bulb: Numbers, Sizes, and Shapes" at the ICPBR Colloquium. The colloquium was hosted by Prof. Nikos Logothetis.
The talk concluded with a lively Q&A session, during which attendees discussed topics ranging from the evolutionary conservation of OR genes to potential applications in neuro-engineering.
This was Dr. Mombaerts' second visit to ICPBR. We are very grateful for his insightful lecture and look forward to further collaboration and exchange in the future.
