Biography

Rory originally trained in Physics at KCL. He then switched to modelling biological systems during his MRes at UCL, after which he moved to the Iannetti Lab at UCL for his PhD in neuroscience. During his PhD, his main work lay in the link between body-part centric representations of space and action selection. Rory continued this interest at the Italian Institute of Neuroscience, where he modelled neural and behavioural data from multiple species under various frameworks (e.g. reinforcement learning, active inference). Rory is now a member of the Logothetis lab at the ICPBR.

Research Interests

Computational Neuroscience, Egocentric representations, Reinforcement Learning, Active Inference, Memory Consolidation.
