Wang Wentao graduated from Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College with a degree in Animal Medicine. Driven by a strong interest in neuroscience and animal neurosurgery, he joined a neuroscience research laboratory, where he assisted in non-human primate research, including various invasive electrode implantation surgeries and behavioral training. In 2025, he joined the Lab of Neural Dynamics of Visual Perception and Cognition as a research assistant. 

Wentao is interested in investigating mechanisms and potential interventions for neurological diseases in non-human primate model system.
