I have both computational and experimental backgrounds. Through a biomedical engineering degree at the Amirkabir University of Technology, I developed a foundation in electronics and neuroimage processing. Then, as a researcher in Iran’s first and only bird neuroscience lab at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM), I gained experience in lab development, stereotaxic surgeries, in vivo electrophysiology, and the design, operationalization, and analysis of behavioral and neural experiments. Currently at ICPBR, I aim to further learn and sharpen my skillsets in neuroscience and lab development, with non-human primates as a more complex animal models.
